Site Supervisor

 

Job Description

Site Supervisor will have vast amount of in the construction industry and understand how to manage workers. The Site Supervisor will have the ability to work towards tight time frame and know how to utilize the employees around them.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work on site to complete projects in an efficient manner
  • Lead and supervise projects/crew
  • Complete projects from start-up to finish

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 5 – 10 years of construction related experience in – Concrete forming, wood framing, metal cladding/flashings & use of construction related hand & power tools
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supervising commercial projects
  • Knowledgeable in the BC Building Code & standard construction practices
  • In depth understanding of Work Safe regulations
  • Experience in project coordination & scheduling
  • Experience dealing with clients, municipalities, architects/designers & engineers
  • Ability to manage a crew of up to 10 employees
  • Ability to manage numerous sub trades
  • Experience with computers, emailing & word/excel software
  • Good communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Hard worker
  • Strong attention to detail

Not Required But Beneficial

  • Journeyman carpenter
  • First aid training
  • Aerial training
  • Machinery/equipment training
  • Construction management related education
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Construction related experience in – Commercial renovations, steel buildings, project estimating
  • Experience in sales

Compensation

  • Starting wage of $30/hr-$35/hr – based on experience
  • Group plan benefit package – available after probation period
  • Work vehicle – Timing TBD
  • Cell phone or allowance for personal phone
  • Workstation in office (if needed)
