Our Construction Process
At Twin Maple Construction, we always strive to put the needs of our clients above all else. That is why we work closely with each of our clients throughout the entire construction process to ensure that they are never left out of the loop on the progress of their project.
Before starting any work on your project, our team will take the time to really get to know you and your needs, as well as your budget and any finishes that you are looking for, by meeting with you for multiple consultations. Once we fully understand your project requirements, we will line up our consultants—engineers, architects, and designers—and have them draw up each aspect of the project design. We will then meet with you to go over the design plans and, once we receive your approval, we will submit the drawings and obtain the permits necessary to start work on your project.
In order to ensure that you are receiving the best and most competitive pricing for your project, we will take the time to compare multiple trades in all divisions and a variety of materials available. Once we have found the right tradesmen and materials at the best prices, we will put together a finalized budget for the construction phase of your project and will present it to you.
Before starting construction, we will issue POs to each of the trades to secure pricing and will confirm that each trade has the proper WCB and liability insurance. Once construction is underway, we will have weekly toolbox talks with all of the trades and our team members, as well as have regular meetings with you to keep you updated on the project’s progress. Our team will even take care of organizing all of the inspections needed throughout each stage of the project and at the end of the project to ensure that everything meets the highest standards.
Once your project has been completed, we will walk through the space with you to identify and create a list of any deficiencies that need to be addressed. The list will then be provided to the correct trades to ensure that the work is completed quickly and efficiently. During the postconstruction phase, we will also provide you with all warranties, manuals, and close out documentation, as well as ensure that a copy of all documents is kept in our office. One year after the project has been completed, our team will walk through the space with you again to ensure that everything is still exceeding your expectations.
