The Twin Maple Construction’s Commercial Division recently completed a tenant improvement of a processing plant for Misty Mountain Specialty Mushrooms in Port Coquitlam.
Misty Mountain Specialty Mushrooms is a purveyor of wild, exotic, organic, and cultivated mushrooms since 1997. They are pioneers in the speciality food and mushroom industry, being the first company to introduce Canada to many types of mushrooms including the now popular oyster mushrooms.
The company offers a range of wholesome, natural, Kosher and organic certified foods harvested from across B.C., including: fresh, dried and frozen mushroom varieties, including chanterelles, morels, hedgehogs and black trumpets; fresh sea asparagus and fiddleheads; fresh and frozen wild berries; as well as pea shoots and microgreens grown in Langley.
With their head office based out of Richmond British Columbia, Misty Mountain Specialty Mushrooms sells their products globally. The company has been quickly expanding and chose Twin Maple Construction to help their company grow.
The expansion included a new 5000 square foot processing plant that contains two large coolers, a flash freezer, processing area, and office space. Twin Maple Construction was thrilled to be able to work on this project for Misty Mountain Specialty Mushrooms. The tenant improvement took our team 4 months to project completion.
