President/ Project Manager
Dustin Born grew up in the construction and farming industry. Since the age of 6, Dustin has been helping out on the farm and growing his passion for agriculture. Following in his families footsteps, Dustin has been involved in dozens of agriculture projects which include various styles such as free range, broiler, layer, pullet, broiler breeder & organic chicken barns. While he is mostly involved in Twin Maple Construction’s Agriculture Division, he is also involved in the Commercial and Residential Divisions. His Commercial experience includes previous projects for Kirmac Collision, Fountain Tire, and Drumeo. Dustin is the husband to Colleen Born and together they have four boys ages four to ten. He is an avid football fan with unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys.
Operations Manager/ Project Manager
Sean Nicholls is a Project Manager and Operations Manager of Twin Maple Construction Ltd. Sean graduated, with honours, from the University of the Fraser Valleys’ Architectural and Civil Drafting program. He has 14 years of commercial and residential construction experience. Sean is well versed in base building, tenant improvement, institutional, multifamily, and single-family construction. Sean has completed many commercial projects such as Rexall, Boston Pizza, Original Joes, Kirmac Collision, KPMG just to name a few. He has risen up through the ranks starting out as a labourer, then a carpenter, and now Operations Manager of Twin Maple Construction.
In his role as Account Manager, Chris Knox works with each prospective client to help them on the first steps of bringing their dream building to a reality. Chris has a diverse work background that allows him to understand different elements of the industry. With previous work history as a commercial driver for construction contracts, he started working at a metal recycler as a Foreman before being promoted to Head of Sales. Chris’s family has deep roots in the Fraser Valley, he is committed to helping the community grow through involvement. Chris is the proud father of four girls and a foster parent.
As Marketing Manager, Christine Jamieson is in charge of all community events, sponsorships, social media, website development, and photography. With a background in industrial, corporate, and international communications and marketing, Christine brings a unique perspective to the construction industry. Christine grew up in Vancouver and has an Associates Degree in Creative Writing from Capilano University and a double Bachelor Degree in Communications and English from Simon Fraser University. She moved to the Fraser Valley in 2016 and now lives in Mission. In July, Christine had the honour of being crowned Miss British Columbia 2018/19 and is a finalist for Miss Canada.
In her role as Project Coordinator, Anne is responsible for directing, organizing, and controlling project activities to ensure project success. Anne is an honours graduate from York University’s Bachelor in Environmental Studies program and has been working within the construction industry since 2011. She is experienced in handling projects big or small, and acts as our in-office contact, welcoming feedback from our valued clients whether current or perspective. Born in Alberta and raised in Toronto, Anne has lived across Canada and is a recent transplant to the Fraser Valley. She is thrilled to be part of both the TMC team and Abbotsford community.
Wade Hadfield is a project manager of Twin Maple Construction LTD. Wade started in the construction industry as a labourer and quickly became a carpenters assistant. He completed the BCIT carpentry apprentice program in 1998. Wade has 25 years of experience in the construction industry and has worked on many residential projects from single family dwellings, duplexes, condos and townhouses. He spent 6 years in concrete formwork and high rises construction. Wade also has 8 years’ experience as a project manager in the restoration industry. As well as experience in commercial and tenant improvement projects. Wade is married with two kids and resides in Cloverdale.
Kristal Webb has lived in Abbotsford for over 27 years and has deep roots in the community. Kristal received a diploma in General Studies with a focus in Accounting from the University of the Fraser Valley. She has over 12 years of experience in the administrative and accounting field. At Twin Maple Construction she handles all the aspects of the accounting processes (payables, receivables, banking, reporting). Kristal is the proud mom of a 5 year old son.
Jr. Project Coordinator
Brenda works as Twin Maple Construction’s Jr. Project Coordinator where she is responsible for general office duties, managing employee time logs, invoicing, and assisting with project coordination and events. Born in El Paso, Texas, Brenda is a recent transplant to British Columbia where her husband is from. Brenda is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor in Business Administration. She has over 15 years of combined sales and administrative experience and is thrilled to be a part of the Twin Maple team. Brenda is currently on Maternity leave after the birth of her first child.
Karissa works as Twin Maple Construction’s Administrative Assistant where she is responsible for general office duties, managing employee time logs, invoicing, and assisting with project coordination. She is currently a full-time student, at the University of the Fraser Valley, working towards her diploma in Early Childhood Education. Karissa is excited to be a part of the TMC Team.
Twin Maple Construction is dedicated to investing in the growth of the carpentry industry and local community through investing in young apprentice carpenters. We currently have a number of apprentice carpenters in our apprenticeship program. Twin Maple Construction provides mentorship and gives carpenters the ability to grow to leadership positions within the team. All apprenticeship programs are run through the Industry Training Authority BC.
